Mainly Usage
Polyacrylamide is a linear water-soluble polymer with high molecular weight. It is mainly used for: solid-liquid
separation in mineral separation, metallurgy, chemical and food industries, etc.; the sewage treatment of iron and steel, textile, paper-making, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, etc.; the drilling in oil industry and
enhancing in oil recovery; as retention reagent and filter aid, reinforcing agent in paper-making; the treatment
and purification of urban sewage and potable water.
As a flocculant, it is mainly used in industrial solid-liquid separation process, including settlement, clarification,
concentration and sludge dewatering processes.
The main applications include urban sewage treatment, paper making, food processing, petrochemical, metallurgical, mineral dressing, dyeing, sugar making and all kinds of industrial wastewater treatment.
In the paper industry, used as dry strength additive, retention aids and drainage aids, which can significantly
improve paper quality, save cost and improve the production capacity of paper mill.
In recent years, it is also used as the chemical agent in oilfield operations, such as the antiswell agent, thickener for oilfield acidization, etc.
Packaging and storage:
Packed in 25kg P.P woven bags or paper-plastic with PE lined. Or as per buyer's instructions. In storage and
transportation, pay attention to heatproof and moisture-proof. The powdery product will be damped to be
caked and will be poor in solubility if exposure to air for long time. The stacking layer should not be more
than 20 layers. Shelf life is 2 years.
